What is a Master Watershed Steward?

Description: Berks County now boasts a group of volunteers dedicated to improving the health of our streams and rivers. The Penn State Master Watershed Steward program offers training to men and women with an interest in the environment and a desire to make a difference in their community. Our Tulpehocken Creek is the largest watershed in the area; after the program, we’ll walk down to the creek to look at initiatives by the County to improve its water quality. Learn about other projects these volunteers are doing in our area, and what it takes to be a Master Watershed Steward.
