Family Science Day

Description: Join us to explore STEM at the Berks County Heritage Center. Learn how the Wertz’s Red Bridge was built, than take a turn at building your own mini bridge. Discover how and why the Union Canal and other Canals were built. Get a chance to try an experiment that was originally created by Ben Franklin. Than join us by the creek to learn a little about what it takes for something to rot, and why certain objects will never rot away.
This program is designed for children Ages 7-12 and their families.
Please call to register by June 22nd . Cost $5.00 per family.
